ContiTech presents quality hoses with maximum user benefit / Durable and permanently reliable / For the utmost safety in day-to-day operation / Easy handling

Pressemeldung der Firma ContiTech AG

Hoses are ubiquitous and indispensable at construction sites: as water hoses, compressed-air hoses or hoses for the conveyance of concrete. At bauma 2013 in Munich from April 15 to 21, ContiTech (booth 301/402 in hall B2) is presenting high-performance hoses that safely and reliably master all the challenges construction sites pose. This is possible thanks to their specific elastomer compound and sophisticated design. And construction sites can really have it in for hoses. They subject hoses to extreme temperature fluctuations, the influence of ozone and UV radiation, and abundant mechanical strain. A hose can suddenly be driven over or kinked up.

Flexible, robust, and application-optimized

Material design and construction make the GOLD SNAKE® from ContiTech a highly flexible and extremely resistant water and cleaning hose. It can easily handle the tough conditions associated with routine construction work. The pressure-bearing textile ply makes the hose resistant to buckling and injury from vehicles driving over it. Its dirt-repellent jacket made of synthetic rubber is highly resistant to oil, grease, and chemicals. The robust hose additionally boasts ultra high temperature stability within a range of -30°C to +100°C as well as resistance to ozone and UV radiation. The TRIX® BLAUSTRAHL from ContiTech is also reliable at all times, even under the most grueling conditions. The high-quality hose – flexible and robust – is designed for use in heavy-duty compressed-air applications. It is temperature- and weather-resistant as well as oil-resistant, rendering it suitable for transporting air of high oil content. The smooth, dirt-resistant outer layer enhances the high practicality of the DIN EN ISO 2398-compliant compressed-air hose. ContiTech hoses for conveyance of concrete can also take a beating. Thanks to their weather-resistant and extremely robust external layer, their multi-layered reinforcement made of highly tear- and breakage-resistant steel wire, and the smooth and extremely wear-resistant internal layer, they are optimally suited for use with concrete pumps and high-density substance pumps. What is more, they allow for use with a wide range of flange systems and thus offer users maximum flexibility at a consistently high quality level. Hose lines delivered factory-reinforced on request have case-hardened, low-wear hose connectors and galvanized press sleeves that guarantee extended lifetime.

High product benefit

Long-lasting and extremely reliable during use, hoses bearing the ContiTech brand name ensure maximum occupational safety. Light and easy handling is one of the factors that go to make sure users derive maximum benefit from the hoses.
